Target Audience Insights was founded by a literary agent in Portland, Oregon, based on a clear need he kept running into with his authors: to involve the “third voice” of the target reader along with the author and editor to help shape manuscripts into the best possible books. 

Today, TAI offers a full suite of insight research and feedback services that connect authors, agents, editors, and publishers with real-world readers from their target genre to make better decisions on book concepts, acquisition decisions, editorial directions, titles, covers, and marketing metadata such as keywords and descriptions.
